Alice Fletcher is a main character in Netflix Limited Series of Godless. She is a two time widow who lives at a ranch somewhere out of town.
Biography[]
Alice tells Roy a story about how she lost her first husband in a flash flood, she only survived because of a new yellow dress her new husband had bought her to wear for their first meeting. After the flood passed, she was woken by a band of men—possibly Native Americans—wearing long hairy hoods with horns who seemed to be traveling with white prisoners. The group of men came upon her, sliced open her dress, cutting her down the front as a result, and raping her. She was saved when Bill McNue and Anna arrived shooting all the men who surrounded her.

Alice makes love to Roy before he embarks for California. Roy then temporarily returns to La Belle to fight Frank and then finally departs for California bidding farewell to Alice and Truckee.
Bill McNue
Alice is somewhat together with Bill. It is indicated that a relationship started between them after Anna, Bill's wife, died, although the origins of this relationship are not revealed until later in the series, via a flashback sequence.
Physical Appearance[]
Alice is a beautiful woman with fair skin, dark eyes and long, wavy brown hair. Though she is seen wearing her hair down, she often sports a long braid on the side of her head. As for her clothes, she wears simple skirts with a blouse, sometimes paired with an apron. Going out, Alice is seen wearing a more formal blazer with a small scarf and a floppy brown hat.
